Hunter holds Redeployment symposium

Family members and friends of the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, attended the Family Redeployment Symposium May 3 at Hunter Army Airfield at Truscott Terminal (ADAG) to prepare Family members for their Soldier to return. Soldier services can be accessed before, during and after a deployment.

Honor Flight

For the 18th time since the inaugural Honor Flight on October 24, 2009, Honor Flight Savannah sponsored 24 military veterans from the local area with a trip to Washington, D.C. May 4 – 6 to see the various war memorials built and dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices in past wars. Veterans will also view the Changing of Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery.

Deployed RSSB observes SAAPM

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan - To continue to bring awareness to the Army's Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Program (SHARP), Soldiers with the 3rd Infantry Division Resolute Support Sustainment Brigade conducted events throughout April for Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. Events included spin classes, painting, self-defense classes and solariums.

Winn ACH earns Level IV Trauma designation

U.S. Army Medical Department Activity-Fort Stewart, Winn Army Community Hospital, held a designation ceremony at the emergency room entrance to signify Winn ACH as a Level IV Trauma Center April 18. Winn is a state-of-the art, 25-bed emergency room and fully accredited 39-bed hospital.
