Integrating land-nav training with counter IED efforts

Finance Soldiers Train in Defense Operations

Soldiers with the 24th Financial Management Support Unit, 3rd Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade on Fort Stewart conducted a Perimeter Defense Live Fire Exercise on Sept. 22. Hurricane relief departs Hunter

Twenty Soldiers from Fort Stewart's 63rd Expeditionary Signal Battalion deployed with their tactical vehicles and equipment on board two C-17 Globemaster aircraft from Hunter Army Airfield Sept. 26 for Fort Buchanan in San Juan, Puerto Rico where they will assist with the response efforts following the devastation left by Hurricane Maria.

Diamond Elementary shows off ‘shiny’ new building

The ground breaking for the facility began May of 2011 and features energy and environmentally sustainable capabilities, solar panel installation and is completely lit utilizing light emitting diode (LED) lighting. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers played an integral role in the construction of the building.
